Not at this time, but you can quickly and conveniently order from Morrissey Market on your phone or computer. Sign up for an account for quicker checkout and one-click reordering.

Where does Morrissey Market Deliver?

Morrissey Market delivers to the Greater Boston area with new zip codes added frequently. Type in your zip code here to see if we deliver to your area and let us know where you’d like us to start delivering next. Delivery is free with no minimums. Order Monday-Thursday for free next-day delivery.

Can I choose my delivery date?

Yes, at checkout you will be shown the available delivery dates to choose from. Delivery is always free, no minimums required. 

Will all of the items be available for delivery in my area?

Yes! If we deliver to your area you have access to everything you can find on Morrissey Market. And no substitutions ever. 

Is there a delivery fee?

Nope! When you place your order by noon Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday we will deliver it to your home the next day for free. All deliveries are free with no minimums.

Can I schedule a specific time for my delivery?

In order to move forward with checkout you need to select a day for delivery. At this time, we do not offer specific delivery times on each day as we plan our routes based on all the orders for that day to ensure your food stays fresh. 

Do I need to be home to ensure delivery?

Nope! You do not have to be home for a successful delivery. You can leave specific instructions in the delivery notes box at checkout letting us know where to leave your order and if there are any directions that can make it easier for us to find your home.

How do you ensure food safety standards?

We spend a lot of time thinking about, talking about, and writing (boring reporting logs) about food safety. As a top-tier food service company we consider it a required part of doing business to keep our food fresh and our customers safe. Handling your food is an honor and we are privileged that you allow us to serve you. We work with a variety of vendor partners from very large and complex to very small and simple to source the best quality products. We vet them, check food safety standards, and have best practices in place when we take possession of their products that ensure the highest safety standards. In addition, we are obsessive about controlling and not breaking the cold chain – from our producers, to the truck, to our warehouse and ultimately to your front door. But you don’t know that unless we tell you and in many ways, you’re trusting us to do the right thing. We believe the best way to keep our trust level high is to tell you how we operate behind the scenes so that you can “trust but verify” and ask questions if you want to learn more about the process.

How do you handle fresh/frozen meat?

First, please allow us to explain the guidelines, what we do and why we do it.  The standards for meat are:

  • Fresh product has a 14-day shelf life from packaging
  • Frozen product has a 6 month best by date in the freezer
  • Frozen product that has thawed has a 14-day shelf life from thaw

We take in fresh products from our local farms like Maine Family Farms within 3 days of packaging (usually within 1 day), immediately freeze the product and only remove it from cold storage when your order is packed to ship the day of delivery.

Do I need to refrigerate all of my food?

It depends on what your order contains. If you purchase some of our pantry items or dry snacks you do not need to keep those items refrigerated. 

tHE GIVING BOX

How do I participate in the Giving Box?

To participate in our Giving Box, simply go to our shop and add The Giving Box to your cart. If this is all you would like to purchase you can head to check out from there. If you would like to add other items to your order, browse the shop and add them to your cart. When you feel as though your cart is complete, head to checkout and follow the steps to complete your order. With every Giving Box purchase a $15 donation is made to a monthly local community partner providing food accessibility.

Do I have to buy a Giving Box to be able to shop at Morrissey Market?

No, our produce box, called the Giving Box, offers a collection of fresh produce, but there is much more to Morrissey Market than our Giving Box. We offer everything from produce to meats, seafood, dairy, pantry staples, local goods and more. Check it out here.

TASTEMAKERS CLUB

What is the Tastemakers Club?

Tastemakers Club is a subscription that includes a monthly box with three to five carefully curated foods that you can’t find anywhere else. We source from New England farms, kitchen incubators, and the backrooms of Boston’s most talented cooks and growers. Tastemakers get 10% off every order at Morrissey Market.

How do I participate in the Tastemakers Club?
