Taco Night Recipe

Raise your hands if you love Taco Tuesday! We’ve pulled together all of our favorite taco ingredients to make dinner come together even faster. Plus, we share some additional ways to mix up your usual taco night.
 
First, the quality of the meat for your taco makes a huge difference in flavor. We get our meat from Maine Family Farms, which is committed to sustainable farming. We are including 1lb of ground beef in the box kit. If you are cooking for a large family or would like leftovers, we suggest adding in an additional package of ground beef. 
 
While you cook the ground beef in a large sauté pan, it’s time to start chopping your vegetables. We like green leafy lettuce with our tacos, plus fresh plum tomatoes. Chop those into small bites and add to a large platter board or mini bowls. Shred your Cabot cheddar cheese, and slice some jalapenos to give your tacos a little kick. Don’t forget the cilantro. It elevates family taco night to a whole new level, and it’s full of nutrients that help your body detox from heavy metals. 
 
Though not included in the Taco Dinner Night Box, we do recommend adding some of Curio Spice’s Chili Today seasoning to your recipe. It’s a great add on if you are running low on chili spice. We use about 2 tablespoons for each pound of meat, so one jar will make multiple meals.
 
After the ground beef is cooked through, it’s time to gather together all your prepped ingredients. We include the One Mighty Mills Whole Wheat Tortillas. Wrap them in a clean dish towel with a damp paper towel. Microwave for 20 seconds to make them pliable to wrap around all your taco ingredients.
 
You can mix up taco night by mixing up your protein choice. Ground turkey, chicken, and fish are all great options. We like Captain Marden’s Haddock with the Chili Today spice for a fabulous fish taco dinner.
